This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts and all other files are served from this site's own server, so visiting it does not send your data to Google or any other third party.

Visiting this website
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open it, Cloudflare automatically records technical data in server log files: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working and secure website). Cloudflare processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement and keeps it only as long as needed for delivery and security.
Cloudflare may process data in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and its data processing agreement also includes the EU standard contractual clauses.
Contacting me by email
If you email me, I process the details you send (your name, email address and message) to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to carry out the engagement.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before entering into a contract, and the contract itself) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering general enquiries). I keep emails as long as the enquiry or engagement requires, and business correspondence for as long as tax and commercial law require me to.
My email is hosted by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (Microsoft 365), which processes it on my behalf.
The link to my LinkedIn profile is a plain link. No data is sent to LinkedIn until you click it. After that, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Email me to use any of these rights.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. The authority responsible for me is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Lisbon, cnpd.pt.
